THIS YEAR’S EVENT

ADMISSION

Admission is FREE. All who attend this event are doing so at their own risk. If you or your child have recently been diagnosed with an illness or have symptoms, please stay home and do not attend.

VENDORS

This year’s event will not be hosting vendors. Please plan accordingly, as the only offerings will be candy (provided by the Town) via the registered Trunks.

TIME

This year’s event will begin earlier, giving families more time to come and go, and leaving more room for all to attend at some point in the evening. The event will run from 4pm to 8pm, or until candy runs out.

CANDY

Trunks will be handing out candy to participants that is individually wrapped and provided by the Town of Payson. Trunks will be 6′ apart and encouraged to wear a face covering. Candy transfer will limit hand-to-hand contact. Trunks are NOT allowed to provide their own candy, food, or other items to distribute to attendees.

MASKS/ FACE COVERINGS

As of 10/3, per the Town of Payson’s Mayor, it is recommended that all attendees wear a mask or face covering while in areas where social spacing is not possible, such as in lines.

FAMILY FUN

This is a family event meant for all ages. Individuals wearing inappropriate costumes or those featuring adult-level content or apparel will be asked to leave. No weapons or fear-inducing accessories will be permitted.

Thank you to our Title Event Sponsor, Matt Crespin at State Farm Insurance! Be sure to stop by his booth on the way in to the event.

This event would not be possible without the amazing turn out and support that we receive from businesses, organizations, and community members.

FAQ

Can I bring my dog?
No dogs will be permitted, with the exception of service dogs defined by the following explanation provided by the ADA:
“A service animal means any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Tasks performed can include, among other things, pulling a wheelchair, retrieving dropped items, alerting a person to a sound, reminding a person to take medication, or pressing an elevator button.
Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA.” These animals are not permitted. Those who attempt to attend with any animal that is not trained to perform tasks “for the benefit of an individual with a disability” will be asked to leave.
